It is known that up to now, there have been more than 400 kinds of microbial fertilizers approved by the state for registration. In fact, more than 2,000 manufacturers have been producing. The microbial fertilizers sold in the market are mixed, including good and bad. In order to safeguard the interests of the farmers, we should pay attention to the following issues when purchasing and applying:
First, do not purchase the microbial fertilizers that do not have the registration certificate of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry of Agriculture regulates that the microbial fertilizers must be inspected by the designated units of the Ministry of Agriculture and formally tested in the field, fully demonstrating their benefits, non-toxic and harmless, and then approved by the Ministry of Agriculture for registration, and first issued to the temporary registration certificate, then will be issued to the official registration certificate after 3 years of practical application verification. The official registration certificate is valid for 5 years. Microbial fertilizers that do not have a registration certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture may have problems with quality and should not be purchased or used.
Second, do not purchase the microbial fertilizers that the number of effective viable bacteria in microbial fertilizers does not meet the standard. The Ministry of Agriculture regulates that the number of effective viable bacteria in microbial agents is 200 million/g (particles 100 million/g), and the number of effective viable bacteria in complex microbial fertilizers and bio-organic fertilizers are 20 million/g. If this standard is not met, the quality of the microbial fertilizers will not meet the requirements.
Third, do not purchase the microbial fertilizers that storage time is longer than the expiration date. The survival time of the effective bacteria in microbial fertilizers in China is less than one year, so the microbial fertilizers to be purchased should be used as soon as possible, and the effect of expired microbial fertilizers is definitely not good.
Fourth, do not store indiscriminately, use in accordance with the storage conditions and methods of use. Many effective viable bacteria in microbial fertilizers are not resistant to high and low temperature and strong light, not resistant to strong acid and alkali, and can not be combined with certain fertilizers and sterilization. Mixtures must be scientifically preserved and used in accordance with product specifications when using microbial fertilizers.
